Mechanical Pencil Model
The final project for my CAD class revolved around a multi-component object. The assignment required a step-by-step guide to recreate components, animations, drawings, and FEA tests. I made a model of my mechanical pencil using caliper measurements.

I decided to model the $1.50 mechanical pencil I bought on vacation a few years ago.

I wrote a step-by-step component guide for four components, and a step-by-step assembly guide for the entire pencil.

I created an assembly drawing and an animation of the pencil being assembled.

I ran a FEA simulating someone pressing down on the dispenser really hard (15 lbf).
